Web3.0, as the next generation evolution of blockchain technology, is becoming an important part of the future internet. To further promote the development and popularization of Web3, Blockchain Academy, Alibaba Cloud, Cyberport, and HKUST Crypto-Fintech Lab have jointly organized a large-scale event - the Web3 Public Class. This event has attracted significant attention, not only receiving sponsorship from Alibaba Cloud but also support from Beosin, as well as strong backing from well-known institutions such as Talentre, the Entrepreneurship Center of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, the Web3.0 Association, the Greater Bay Area 5G Alliance, Invest HK, New Fire Technology, Meta Era, Winkrypto, Chainlink MSSS, GSAA, and others.
It is expected that this Web3 Public Class will attract thousands of participants, including students from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, the Education University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University, and many other top universities both domestically and internationally. Additionally, social elites from various industries will also participate. The diverse participant group will bring broader perspectives and innovative power to the event.
The Web3 Public Class will be held online. The four-week course will cover multiple topics, including the basics and applications of blockchain, blockchain security, smart contract writing, big data, and artificial intelligence. Through these courses, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the concepts and developments of Web3, the application scenarios of blockchain technology, the integration of Web3 and artificial intelligence, the metaverse, decentralized applications, and other foundational knowledge. At the same time, they will also learn practical skills such as independently developing ChatGPT and creating personal Web3 projects. The course aims to help participants master the basics and applications of Web3 from scratch, gain insights into the latest trends and development directions in the industry, and acquire practical skills and knowledge to lay a solid foundation for their future development in the Web3 world.
In addition, to further enrich the learning experience of participants, the Web3 Public Class will also host three exciting offline events. The first is the opening ceremony of the Web3 Public Class, which will be held on June 18 from 2 PM to 6 PM (Hong Kong time) at Lecture Theater B of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. This ceremony will mark the grand start of the entire course, where we will celebrate the innovation and development of Web3 technology together and invite special guests to share their insights and experiences.
Secondly, there will be two Web3 public forums held on June 25 and July 2 from 2 PM to 6 PM (Hong Kong time) at Lecture Theater B of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. These forums will gather industry leaders and experts to discuss the cutting-edge trends, application cases, and market developments of Web3 technology. Participants will have the opportunity to listen to speeches, engage in discussions, and exchange ideas and insights with other attendees.
