Zhao Changpeng: Due to the termination of cooperation with banking partners, we will close our business in Australia and the AUD trading pair
ChainCatcher news, Binance founder Zhao Changpeng responded to a user asking "Why is Binance closing its operations in Australia and the AUD trading pairs?" by stating, "This is not our decision; it is a decision made by fiat channels, specifically that our banking partners have stopped cooperating with us. Without fiat channels, it is impossible to deposit or withdraw AUD, so having that currency pair loses its meaning and liquidity."
ChainCatcher previously reported that Binance announced it will remove the following spot trading pairs on June 1 at 14:00 Beijing time: ADA/AUD, AUD/BUSD, AUD/USD, BNB/AUD, BTC/AUD, DOBE/AUD, ETH/AUD, GALA/AUD, MATIC/AUD, SOL/AUD, XRP/AUD. Users can still trade the aforementioned cryptocurrencies on other trading pairs on Binance. (Source link)
