The monthly financing amount decreased by 66.2% year-on-year (compared to $2.245 billion in May 2022) and decreased by 6.9% month-on-month (compared to $815 million in April 2023).

It is reported that the largest financing in the cryptocurrency sector in May occurred on May 25, when the cryptocurrency network Worldcoin completed a $115 million Series C financing.
