ChainCatcher news, Web3 game infrastructure developer Argus announced the completion of a $10 million seed round financing, led by Haun Ventures, with participation from Alchemy Ventures, Robot Ventures, Dispersion Capital, Anagram, Balaji Srinivasan, Elad Gil, Calvin Liu, and others.
It is reported that Argus is developing a blockchain called World Engine, designed from the ground up for on-chain games, which provides a foundation for game developers to build and customize their own open and interoperable game worlds. With the innovative Layer 2 sharding architecture of World Engine, each game can now have its own horizontally scalable blockchain, owned by the community and growing together with it. (Source link)
