The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has begun preparations for the issuance of the e-HKD
ChainCatcher news, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) has released the report "e-HKD - Next Steps," which states that the HKMA has begun studying the prospects of issuing a retail CBDC (rCBDC) in Hong Kong, namely e-HKD.
