Jump Trading seeks to transfer the Terra class action lawsuit to California
ChainCatcher news, cryptocurrency market maker Jump Trading is seeking to transfer the class action lawsuit against the company from Illinois to the Northern District of California, arguing that this would significantly expedite the legal process.
In the latest motion filed on June 9, the defendants argue that choosing to file the lawsuit in Illinois is an "attempt to shop for a forum," as the lead plaintiff is a New Jersey resident represented by law firms from New York and California.
ChainCatcher previously reported that Jump Trading is accused of manipulating the Terra market to profit over $1.28 billion. (source link)
