ChainCatcher News: Japanese telecom giant Fujitsu announced that it will launch a new blockchain-based cross-border collaboration platform, the "Fujitsu Web3 Accelerator Platform," on June 30, to use blockchain technology to connect transactions across different economic regions. The Fujitsu Web3 Accelerator Platform will provide "Fujitsu Computing as a Service Data e-TRUST" (Data e-TRUST) technology to partners participating in the "Fujitsu CaaS Accelerator Program."

The platform will integrate "ConnectionChain" (cross-border securities settlement) technology, which was piloted in collaboration with the Asian Development Bank, ConsenSys, R3, and SORAMITSU, starting in January 2022, to achieve flexible and secure connections across multiple economies.
