The EU plans to establish a digital infrastructure alliance by the end of 2024
ChainCatcher news, according to DL News, the European Union is expected to establish a new European Digital Infrastructure Consortium (EDIC) by the end of 2024. This consortium will build on the existing European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and aims to enhance Europe's competitiveness in the digital economy, provide more secure and efficient blockchain solutions, and oversee the development and deployment of blockchain technology. EDIC will cover coordination of infrastructure use cases, research and development, sandboxing for testing new projects, Web3, and metaverse development, among others. (source link)
