ChainCatcher News, Mike Kondoudis, a trademark attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), tweeted that HSBC recently applied for a new trademark covering metaverse banking consulting and financial services, virtual credit cards, NFTs, and NFT-supported media.

Previous report, HSBC had submitted trademark applications related to NFTs, the metaverse, and the cryptocurrency industry last December, covering areas such as NFT-supported digital media, virtual currency exchange and transfer, and credit card processing. (Source link)
