Damus has been removed from the Apple App Store
ChainCatcher news, former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted that the open social application Damus has been removed from the Apple App Store to allow tipping to anyone in the world without the need for banks, payment cards, or government permission. Jack Dorsey also asked Tim Cook on Twitter why Apple Pay does not support Bitcoin.
Earlier reports indicated that in mid-June, Damus tweeted that it would be removed from the Apple App Store in 14 days. Apple stated that it does not allow the zaps feature on their platform because zaps "may" be used by content creators to sell digital content. (source link)
