ARK Invest has modified its Bitcoin spot ETF application materials to enhance its chances of approval

2023-06-29 07:07:21

ChainCatcher news, Bloomberg's senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas stated on his social media that, according to disclosed documents, Cathie Wood's Ark Invest has amended its 19b-4 filing for its Bitcoin spot ETF application. Similar to BlackRock's approach, ARK Invest's amendment introduces a supervisory sharing agreement between the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) and a well-known cryptocurrency exchange (likely Coinbase).

Since ARK Invest's Bitcoin spot ETF application was submitted earlier than BlackRock's, this amendment may give it a lead in the SEC's approval process. (Source link)
