StarkWare announces the Cairo roadmap, which will update the contract syntax and V2 version
ChainCatcher news, StarkWare today released the roadmap for the programming language Cairo. The V2 version of Cairo is set to be released, and the team expects to launch the new contract syntax alongside Starknet alpha v0.12.0.
StarkWare stated that Cairo is now stable and rich enough to support complex applications and to port existing Cairo 0 logic. In addition, Starknet's backward compatibility guarantee ensures that even if there are significant changes to the language, users will have sufficient time (at least six months) to complete the development or review and deployment of contracts.
