Two 17-year-old Canadian teenagers were arrested for stealing $4.2 million in cryptocurrency

ChainCatcher news, according to CBC, two 17-year-old boys from Hamilton, Canada, were arrested and charged for stealing $4.2 million in cryptocurrency. The two defendants, using the aliases Felon and Gaze, impersonated Coinbase support to take over the victims' trading accounts, stealing $4.2 million worth of BTC and ETH.

According to the police, some of the money was used to purchase social media usernames, and these two teenagers possessed over $13.4 million in cryptocurrency. (Source link)
