Since the launch of the program in early July, the enthusiastic interest and participation in OGN staking have greatly encouraged us.

Staking OGN allows holders to earn 100% of the fees generated from the Origin Story NFT platform (including our new product line in the NFT marketplace), with rewards proportional to the amount staked and the duration of staking.

The OGN staking program is divided into four seasons. Season 1 began at midnight UTC on July 12, 2022, and lasts for 120 days. Throughout the staking window, staking OGN earns 1 point per day. After a season ends, rewards will be distributed based on the share of points earned by each wallet at the end of each season, incentivizing users to stake early throughout the season.

Season 1 will end after 120 days, while the staking window will close after 90 days. This means you can only further stake OGN before midnight UTC on October 10, 2022. Any OGN staked before this will continue to accumulate points during the last 30 days of Season 1.

Although the staking window is about to close, you can still unstake your OGN at any time, although doing so will forfeit any points you have earned.

After Season 1 ends, stakers will have 30 days to claim rewards in the form of ETH and OGN.

If you have participated, be sure to claim your rewards during this period, as any unclaimed rewards will be transferred to the general reward pool for Season 2.

With the end of Season 1 comes a brand new beginning. OGN Season 2 staking will begin immediately after Season 1, and users can start pre-staking for the next season right after the staking window for Season 1 ends at midnight UTC on October 10, 2022.

While pre-staking for Season 2 will begin immediately after the current staking window ends, stakers for the next season will not accumulate points until Season 2 begins at midnight UTC on November 9, 2022. Please remember that unstaking will result in the forfeiture of all earned points.
