Ripple Labs announces real estate tokenization pilot project
ChainCatcher news, Ripple's CBDC advisor Antony Welfare stated in a report on July 7 that the Ripple team is actively exploring the practical applications of CBDCs and stablecoins, with a focus on the tokenization of real estate.
At a fintech conference held in Romania, Welfare presented a case combining a digital Hong Kong dollar, tokenized real estate, and lending protocols. This pilot program aims to enable users to utilize Ripple's CBDC platform to tokenize real estate and use it as collateral for loans. (source link)
