Report: Employment positions in the cryptocurrency industry decreased by 10% in the past year

ChainCatcher news, according to a report by K33 Research, the number of jobs in the cryptocurrency industry has decreased by 10% over the past year, with approximately 190,000 people currently employed in the sector, down from 210,000 in 2022. Only 6% of the workforce is engaged in the NFT industry, while 21% are involved in blockchain protocols, analytics, and mining.

The report indicates that the Asia and Australia region accounts for about 35% of global cryptocurrency jobs. India represents 20% of the jobs in Asia, surpassing China. (Source link)
