The Bitcoin ecological standard BRC20-S proposed by OKX is officially open for deployment and will soon open for staking
ChainCatcher news, the Bitcoin ecological standard BRC20-S proposed by OKX is now officially open for deployment, allowing projects to deploy BRC20-S staking pools on OKX, providing ecological rewards for BRC-20 asset holders. In addition, the BRC-20 asset staking function will soon be available, with the first phase supporting staking for all BRC-20 assets except BTC.
OKX stated that BRC20-S is an open standard, and OKX will not audit the deployed pools. Users can choose pools for staking on their own. The BRC20-S standard aims to introduce a staking mechanism to the Bitcoin ecosystem, allowing users to earn returns through staking without selling their BRC-20 assets. It also enables project parties to distribute BRC20-S assets to Bitcoin or BRC-20 asset holders, thereby contributing to the development of the Bitcoin ecosystem. (source link)
