Manta Network launches EVM-native modular execution layer Manta Pacific

ChainCatcher news, the zero-knowledge proof ZK protocol Manta Network has launched Manta Pacific, an EVM-native modular execution layer designed specifically for zero-knowledge proof (ZK) applications based on the OP Stack. Manta Pacific utilizes the Celestia data availability layer for security, reduces gas fees, and achieves scalability through the improved OP Stack via Caldera, making it the first Layer 2 (Celestium) to integrate Op Stack with Celestia DA.

Victor Ji, co-founder of Manta Network, stated that the Layer 1 of Manta Network has been renamed to Manta Atlantic, and the future Manta ecosystem will consist of two parts: Manta Atlantic and Manta Pacific. (source link)
