ChainCatcher news, OKLink released the 2023 H1 Blockchain Security Situation Data Report: During H1, global blockchain ecosystem projects suffered losses of approximately $724 million due to security incidents. Among them, REKT (projects being attacked) remains the main category of monitored security incidents, but the losses compared to the same period in 2022 decreased by 70.18%. Compared to REKT incidents, social media scams and phishing attacks targeting ordinary investors in the blockchain ecosystem were more frequent in 2023 H1, with multiple well-known projects' official communities on Twitter, Discord, etc., suffering multiple attacks.
