Coinbase announced that it will suspend its staking services in four states in the United States

ChainCatcher news, after the SEC in the U.S. filed a lawsuit against Coinbase regarding a small number of assets and retail staking services, some state agencies have requested Coinbase to limit retail staking services in these states during the litigation.

Coinbase stated that due to actions taken by state regulators in California, New Jersey, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, customers in these states will be unable to stake additional assets through Coinbase during this period of action. Staking services in other states are currently operating normally.

Previous news, ten states in the U.S. have already taken legal action against Coinbase for violating securities laws.
