Flipside Crypto and Linea release the temperature check proposal for "Deploying Aave V3 on the Linea Mainnet."

ChainCatcher news, blockchain analytics company Flipside Crypto has initiated a temperature check proposal in the Aave community for "Deploying Aave V3 on the Linea Mainnet" in collaboration with ConsenSys's Layer2 network Linea. Previously, on July 10, the Aave community approved a temperature check vote for "Deploying Aave V3 on the Linea Testnet," which has been successfully deployed. The proposal states that there is no fixed timeline for putting this proposal to a vote, and the team expects to discuss advancing it to the next governance stage in mid to late August.

If deployed on the Linea Mainnet, Linea allows Aave to utilize the distribution created by the ConsenSys product suite. Linea prioritizes user experience to create seamless deposits and on-chain resources. Additionally, the default MetaMask network dropdown will support Linea, enhancing user convenience and fully supporting all MetaMask-curated experiences. These product integrations include: deposit and withdrawal solutions, MetaBridge, MetaMask Swaps, Portfolio DApp, and MetaMask SDK, providing numerous opportunities for integrating the Aave protocol, helping to expand the protocol's user base, increase TVL, and share market share.
