SUI unlock schedule update, there will be no significant unlocks before May 2024

ChainCatcher message, according to the Sui future token issuance schedule, Sui officials updated the token supply plan on June 29, stating that there will be no significant unlocks before May 2024.

Previously, ChainCatcher reported that the Sui Foundation released a token release detailed plan. The Sui mainnet went live on May 3, 2023. The long-term circulating supply of SUI tokens is 10 billion. At the launch of the mainnet, approximately 5% of the tokens were in circulation, and the remaining tokens will be released according to the proposed schedule. All tokens are expected to be fully released by April 2030. The Sui Foundation stated that the schedule may be adjusted as needed to maintain the health of the Sui network. (source link)
