The cryptocurrency interoperability project Axelar has launched the Interchain Token Service, aimed at achieving interoperability for ERC-20 tokens

ChainCatcher news, according to TheBlock, the cryptocurrency interoperability project Axelar has launched the Interchain Token Service (ITS), aimed at enhancing the interoperability of ERC-20 tokens across all Ethereum-compatible blockchains.

Sushi is one of the first projects to adopt "cross-chain tokens" through this service and plans to leverage ITS for seamless interaction of its native SUSHI token across multiple chains. The initial deployment will ensure interoperability of SUSHI across chains such as Arbitrum, Ethereum, Optimism, and Polygon.
