RWA tokenization company Securitize issues equity tokenized securities in Europe

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, blockchain company Securitize, which specializes in the tokenization of real-world assets, announced that it has begun issuing tokenized securities representing equity in the Spanish real estate investment trust Mancipi Partners in Europe.

It is reported that the aforementioned securities will be tokenized on Avalanche, with secondary trading starting in September.

The company's co-founder Carlos Domingo stated that Securitize is the first company able to issue and trade tokenized securities in both the U.S. and Europe, and also the first company to issue and trade tokenized securities under the EU's new digital asset pilot regime.
