Andre Cronje stated that he has never really left the Fantom Foundation

ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Andre Cronje stated on The Scoop podcast, "At that time, I received too much negative news, and I thought it would have a negative impact on Fantom. I did it purely to not affect Fantom."

Cronje mentioned that he has been working at the Fantom Foundation since 2019, which has been almost his full-time job. He claims he has never really left. Cronje added that it was ultimately the CEO of the Fantom Foundation, Michael Kong, who convinced him to publicly return.

It is reported that from March to November 2022, Andre Cronje claimed he was no longer working at the Fantom Foundation. In December 2022, Andre Cronje stated that he had become a board member of the Fantom Foundation, and in 2023, Fantom will focus on developers.
