Arbitrum community proposal requests nearly 5 million ARB tokens to launch a grant program
ChainCatcher news, the Arbitrum community's two governance proposals jointly request approximately 5 million ARB tokens from Arbitrum's nearly 4 billion dollar treasury to establish a grant program to fund ecosystem development.
Since last week, ARB stakeholders have been voting on one of the grant proposals, with the second vote starting on August 1. Voting on these proposals may grant ARB token holders voting rights on the grants, allowing them to have a say in which proposals receive funding and how much funding they receive.
Plurality Labs anonymous founder DisruptionJoe stated, "If both proposals succeed, the relevant entities will be eager to collaborate, setting a precedent for diversity."
