Yuga Labs acquires immersive media experience developer Roar Studios

ChainCatcher news, according to PR Newswire, Yuga Labs announced the acquisition of immersive media experience developer Roar Studios, with the specific amount undisclosed.

It is reported that the audio, gaming, and artificial intelligence engineering team at Roar Studios is the developer of the immersive media experience ROAR, combining innovative proprietary technology with established MMO games and platform systems.

Upon completion of this acquisition, Roar Studios founder and CEO Eric Reid will join Yuga Labs as the general manager of the metaverse game Otherside.
