Bitwise and five other companies, including Grayscale, submitted applications for Ethereum futures ETFs

ChainCatcher news, Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas tweeted that currently 6 companies are applying for Ethereum futures ETFs. Apart from Volatility Shares, which submitted its application on July 28 local time, Bitwise, Roundhill, VanEck, Proshares, and Grayscale submitted their Ethereum futures ETF applications on August 1 local time. The deadline for the SEC to make a decision on Volatility Shares' application is October 11, and the deadline for the remaining 5 Ethereum futures ETF applications is October 16.

The 6 companies' applications for Ethereum futures ETFs are categorized as Ether Strategy ETF, Bitwise Ethereum Strategy ETF, Roundhill Ether Strategy ETF, Ethereum Strategy ETF, Proshares Short Ether Strategy ETF, and Grayscale Ethereum Futures ETF (ETHG).
