Data: In the past month, the circulation of Circle USDC decreased by 1.6 billion dollars
ChainCatcher news, according to Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire, in the past month, Circle issued 5 billion USD in USDC and redeemed 6.6 billion USD in USDC, resulting in a decrease of 1.6 billion USD in circulation. The current circulation of USDC is approximately 26 billion USD.
In addition, Jeremy Allaire stated that Circle plans to release audited financial data as soon as possible. Circle is working with banks in major regions around the world to introduce local settlement rails and globally distributed minting/burning for USDC.
