Uniswap founder: FRENS token deployer AzFlin has already left and does not support Rug Pull behavior
ChainCatcher news, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams tweeted that employee AzFlin had already left, and we do not support or tolerate the act of removing liquidity from the project.
Previously, the developer of the meme token FrensTech (FRENS) was accused of conducting a rug pull by removing liquidity from the project. On-chain expert @UniswapVillain revealed that former Uniswap employee AzFlin is a developer of FRENS. Hours after deploying the FRENS token, AzFlin used the multi-chain bridge HOP to transfer 14 WETH (approximately $25,800) from the Base network, and even sold the tokens withdrawn from the liquidity.
AzFlin admitted to being the developer and deployer of the FRENS token but denied the rug pull accusations. AzFlin claimed that the project's liquidity was locked from the very beginning. He only removed liquidity worth 1 ETH, which was the liquidity provided using funds from his developer wallet.
