PayPal appoints Alex Chriss as the new CEO and President
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, PayPal has hired Alex Chriss as the new CEO and President. Chriss will take over the CEO position from Daniel Schulman on September 27 and will join the company's board of directors.
Chriss previously served as the Executive Vice President and General Manager of Intuit's Small Business and Self-Employed Group. In 2021, he led the company in its $12 billion acquisition of the marketing platform Mailchimp, expanding Intuit's customer base.
