PeckShield: The hacker who stole 471 ETH from RocketSwap created the Memecoin LoveRCKT and removed liquidity

ChainCatcher news, according to PeckShield monitoring, the Base ecosystem DEX project RocketSwap has been hacked, resulting in a loss of 471 ETH (approximately $870,000). The hacker of RocketSwap transferred the stolen assets from the Base blockchain to Ethereum and quickly created a Memecoin named LoveRCKT, which was paired with 400 ETH liquidity on Uniswap. The price of LoveRCKT surged twofold in just one day, rising from $0.00000001 to $0.00000003, and liquidity has now been removed, causing the token to drop over 90%.

Previous report, RocketSwap tweeted that the private key was stored on the server and was brute-forced, and emergency measures such as shutting down the farm have been taken to prevent further losses.
