The Starknet mainnet has been upgraded to version 0.12.1

ChainCatcher news, according to official sources, the Starknet mainnet has been upgraded to version 0.12.1. This upgrade signifies the end of the "quantum leap" for the Starknet mainnet.

Starknet has previously stated that invalid transactions wasted valuable sequencer resources without paying fees. This upgrade adds a validation phase before sequencing to filter out invalid transactions as early as possible. Failed transactions will have a REVERTED status included in the block and will incur fees.
