MasterCard and Visa are gradually withdrawing from their credit card partnership with Binance
ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, a spokesperson for Binance stated that since July, Visa has stopped issuing new co-branded credit cards with Binance in Europe. Meanwhile, Mastercard Inc. will end its credit card partnership with Binance starting September 22, a decision that will affect all four co-branded card programs between Mastercard and Binance in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Bahrain. Mastercard declined to disclose the reason for this move.
In addition, an article posted by Binance on social media stated that less than 1% of users in Latin America and the Middle East will be affected by this decision, and Binance's accounts globally are not impacted.
