dYdX founder: Crypto builders should prioritize markets outside the United States
ChainCatcher news, dYdX founder Antonio Juliano tweeted that cryptocurrency builders should temporarily abandon serving U.S. customers and try experimenting in other markets for 5-10 years, returning to the U.S. once the timing is right.
Juliano stated that for builders or startups, it makes more sense to focus on finding PMF overseas and then return with a large user base's "leverage." "This does not mean that U.S. cryptocurrency policy work is unimportant. It is absolutely important because it takes a long time (preparation for re-entry is necessary), and many places in the world will follow the U.S. approach."
Considering the slow progress of the U.S. government in establishing cryptocurrency regulation, Juliano suggested that the cryptocurrency industry needs to develop further in order to have a greater impact on U.S. policy.
