Data: Since entering the Bitcoin market in 2020, MicroStrategy's Bitcoin holdings have averaged 74.3% of total assets
ChainCatcher news, CoinGecko stated in its latest report on MicroStrategy's Bitcoin holdings that since MicroStrategy entered the Bitcoin market in 2020, its Bitcoin assets have averaged 74.3% of its total assets on the balance sheet.
MicroStrategy first purchased 21,454 Bitcoins on August 11, 2020, which accounted for 71.9% of its total assets on the balance sheet. As of August 17, 2023, MicroStrategy's Bitcoin holdings have surged to 152,800, an increase of 612.2% compared to the initial purchase amount in 2020.
MicroStrategy's financial report for the second quarter of 2023 shows that Bitcoin assets account for approximately 69.08% of total assets. Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalents held by MicroStrategy represent only 1.96% of total assets on the balance sheet.
