Web3 credential data network Galxe launches decentralized identity protocol Galxe Protocol
ChainCatcher news, according to official news from Galxe, Galxe has launched the Galxe Protocol, a decentralized identity protocol based on zero-knowledge proofs, allowing users to have complete control over their private data and identity.
The Galxe Protocol is a permissionless self-sovereign identity infrastructure that enables builders to create algorithms to prevent counterfeiting, reputation systems, credit systems, personal data markets, decentralized review systems, and more. The core of the Galxe Protocol includes a series of smart contracts deployed on-chain and SDK tools that allow developers to build and use these contracts to issue or verify off-chain credentials.
The Galxe Protocol has four main roles: credential holders, issuers, verifiers, and credential type designers. In the current Galxe platform, Galxe designs and provides various types of credentials for projects to use. Project owners verify and issue credentials to eligible participants, who then become credential holders.
