Former Goldman Sachs Executive: Blockchain Creates Scarcity, Crypto Market May Outperform Tech Stocks
ChainCatcher message, former Goldman Sachs executive and macroeconomic expert, Real Vision CEO Raoul Pal explains his bullish stance on crypto assets.
In an AMA session on YouTube, the macro expert stated that blockchain gives users and investors the opportunity to directly own and operate a part of the network, rather than just gaining a share of the network by purchasing stocks of related companies as in other systems. In a digital world, Pal noted that blockchain can create scarcity and prevent any asset from inflating indefinitely. According to him, the cyclical nature of the crypto market may be larger than the cycles typically associated with tech stocks.
"In the digital world, we need to transmit, record, and store value, and value is increasingly becoming digital. Blockchain allows you to create scarcity in the digital world. The cycles of crypto may be larger because you actually own a share of the entire network itself."
