Coinbase responds to the halt of services in India: The notice is only for customers violating platform standards, not for all Indian customers

A Coinbase spokesperson revealed in an email on September 8: "We are reaching out to inform you that we will be discontinuing all Coinbase retail services associated with your above account, as we will be disabling access to retail accounts that no longer meet our updated standards. During a recent routine review of our systems, some accounts that no longer meet our updated standards may have been identified. Therefore, we will deactivate these accounts and allow customers to update their information at a later date."
