The SEC's lawsuit against Binance will hold the next hearing on the motion for a "protective order" on September 18
ChainCatcher news, according to CoinGape, a federal judge Zia M. Faruqui signed a temporary order on Wednesday in the lawsuit filed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) against Binance, Binance.US, and its founder Changpeng Zhao. This action comes as Binance and its subsidiary Binance.US submitted a joint motion to the SEC requesting a protective order and opposing the SEC's motion for compelled disclosure of evidence.
According to a court document dated September 13, Judge Faruqui has issued a temporary order, with the next hearing scheduled for September 18.
Judge Faruqui will hear arguments from the defendants regarding the motion for a protective order filed by BAM Management US Holdings and BAM Trading Services (Binance.US), as well as the SEC's arguments opposing the motion for a protective order.
