Nine cryptocurrency exchanges in Taiwan have formed a working group to establish a cryptocurrency industry association
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, nine cryptocurrency companies stated in a joint declaration today that they plan to apply for the establishment of an industry association in mid-October and have formed a working group to expedite the process.
The current preparatory group consists of nine cryptocurrency exchanges/platforms, namely: BitstreetX; ACE; HOYA BIT; the Taiwan branch of Bito Technology Ltd. in the British Virgin Islands; MaiCoin; BIT GIN; BitoPro; Rybit; and XREX.
Previously, it was reported that Taiwan's Financial Supervisory Commission is expected to officially announce the "Guidelines for the Management of Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP)" in September.
