Bitget Global Research Report: Women in East Asia and Turkey Show High Interest in Crypto Investment
ChainCatcher news, Bitget released a global report on cryptocurrency enthusiasts' investment goals and behaviors. Conducted from May 2023 to August 2023, in-depth research was carried out in 20 countries worldwide, including Europe, China, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey, with a sample of 1,500 cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The survey provides a comprehensive analysis of the financial goals and investment behaviors of respondents in the target countries, revealing that the most common financial goal among global cryptocurrency investors is to improve their standard of living and quality of life.
The report shows that 46% of South Korean crypto investors prioritize improving their standard of living, while 36% of Malaysians and Taiwanese prioritize increasing household income. Additionally, gender factors also influence financial goals; in South Korea, Japan, and Turkey, women have a higher demand for cryptocurrency investments than men. In South Korea and Japan, the proportion of women who hope to improve their personal lives through cryptocurrency investment is 49% and 41%, respectively, compared to 45% and 30% for men. In terms of investment amounts, Chinese investors are the most active, with 19% investing over $100,000. In Europe, Turkey, and South Korea, about 50% of investors allocate $1,000 to $10,000 for cryptocurrency investments.
