Coinbase Vice President: Coinbase is committed to developing its international markets

ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, Tom Duff Gordon, Vice President of International Policy at cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, stated at the Zebu Live 2023 conference in London: "We want to bring 1 billion people into the cryptocurrency space, and we are committed to economic freedom. Therefore, international expansion is becoming increasingly important for us, especially considering the position of the United States." Coinbase is now "adopting this international-first mindset."

Currently, Coinbase has about 10 markets outside the United States, with Gordon stating that the UK is "first," along with countries such as Brazil, Canada, and Australia. He mentioned that in the U.S., Coinbase has a responsibility to advocate for regulatory clarity.
