Hong Kong police: Phishing SMS fraud impersonating Binance has emerged, with 11 reports received involving 3.5 million Hong Kong dollars

ChainCatcher news, according to Ming Pao, the Hong Kong police stated that criminals have been impersonating Binance to send phishing messages in Hong Kong. Once users click on the messages, their Binance accounts can be compromised, and assets within the accounts can be transferred away. In the past two weeks, 11 reports have been received regarding the transfer of virtual assets from Binance accounts, with the amount involved reaching 3.5 million Hong Kong dollars.
