ChainCatcher news, hardware and chip technology supplier ARM Research has introduced confidential computing for encrypted data into IoTeX's DePIN stack in collaboration with the Web3 platform IoTeX.
It is reported that DePIN stands for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network, designed to allow contributors to build decentralized infrastructure for use by any individual or company in exchange for economic compensation. The latest feature added to the DePIN stack is confidential computing, which allows developers to compute encrypted data. This new framework is written in Rust.
In addition, Dr. Xinxin Fan, co-founder and blockchain lead of IoTeX, stated that confidential computing is a hardware-supported security and privacy enhancement technology specifically designed to protect data during use.
