Coins.ph partners with Circle to promote the use of USDC for international remittances
ChainCatcher news, the Philippines-based cryptocurrency wallet service provider Coins.ph has partnered with USDC stablecoin issuer Circle to promote the use of USDC for international remittances.
Coins.ph CEO Zhou Wei stated that the collaboration aims to provide 18 million Filipino users and their families abroad with more convenient remittance options. It is reported that the Philippines is the fourth largest remittance-receiving country in the world, and remittances from overseas Filipino workers remain a pillar of the Philippine economy. In 2022, remittance flows to the Philippines reached $36.1 billion.
