Manta's Layer2 layer Manta Pacific will migrate from OP Stack to Polygon CDK

ChainCatcher news, Manta Network's Layer 2 network Manta Pacific has announced its migration from Optimism's OP Stack to Polygon CDK. This move aims to provide developers and users with the best experience, ensuring faster transaction confirmations, enhanced security, and broader interoperability with Ethereum.

The alpha version of Manta Pacific's mainnet was only released last month, but the Layer 2 has quickly migrated to become a zkEVM validium.

Manta Network developer p0x labs stated in a statement that Polygon's CDK sets the standard for design and execution at Layer 2, which in the long run, the OP Stack cannot meet. Polygon CDK will provide Manta Pacific with a fast and smooth migration path while leveraging its proven and powerful system for deploying zkEVM.
