The Virtual Currency Working Group of the Singapore Attorney-General's Chambers was established this year
ChainCatcher news, according to Lianhe Zaobao, Singapore's Deputy Public Prosecutor Wang Shouren stated that the Attorney-General's Chambers has officially established two task forces this year to address technology and cryptocurrency crimes, namely the Technology Crime Task Force and the Cryptocurrency Task Force, deploying about 20 prosecutors to tackle the challenges posed by technology.
Among them, the Cryptocurrency Task Force focuses on various issues arising from cryptocurrencies as assets, including assisting the Singapore Police Force in tracking, seizing, and disposing of such assets.
