ChainCatcher news, according to Decrypt, regarding Reddit's plan to shut down its blockchain-based community points program on November 8, Kraken co-founder Jesse Powell believes that Reddit should "provide a redemption path" for the owners of its discontinued crypto community points.

Powell claims that Reddit's decision "undermines the value of community points tokens without providing any compensation." He suggested that Reddit implement alternative ways to redeem tokens, allowing people to purchase collectible avatars with points at some ratio or in other ways, converting points to Karma, and offering special badges to people based on their holdings at the time of destruction.
