Maker's annualized revenue soars to $203 million, setting a new record
ChainCatcher news, according to data from Makerburn.com, the stablecoin issuer Maker Protocol's annual revenue surged to a historic high of $203 million yesterday. The previous peak was $172.3 million in May 2021. The supply of the protocol's stablecoin DAI reached an annual high of $5.6 billion. The surge in revenue is attributed to an increase in tokenized real asset (RWA) deposits used for minting DAI, as well as higher yields for DAI holders (which in turn attracted more collateral).
Additionally, MakerDAO's RWA deposits have soared to $3 billion, accounting for 42.7% of the protocol's total deposits of $7.54 billion.
